After download and decompressing, continue installation as follows:
For all operating systems and the Java Virtual Machine J2SE the
WebAssistant Private simply can be started by selecting of jar-archive:
/Cache/mm3tools/www.de/WebAssistant/Program/MM3-WebAssistant.jar
After that
WebAssistant starts and a logo appears.
If the logo doesn't appear the Virtual Java Machine isn't installed. For opportunities to obtain Java see here.
If the latest version of the java machine isn't installed or isn't installed correctly, you can try one of the following alternatives:

WebAssistant, click on register. Only if you do so your data will be transferred. We guarantee that your personal data will be used only for transmitting news about the
WebAssistant.Switch on the proxy of your browser and enter for protocol types HTTP and FTP the proxy server 127.0.0.1 and port 8080. The parameter settings for the browser Internet Explorer and for Netscape are described in Proxy-Configuration.
Should you ever wish not to use the the
WebAssistant for any particular operations, just deactivate the switched-on proxy.
Now the installation has been completed.
If you are connected online, you can browse and archive with the
WebAssistant.
However, we would recommend to read Help first to get to know the options of the
WebAssistant. This will take a few minutes only, but will enable you to use the tool efficiently. Some further parameters can be defined at the call of the program.
