| |
Pagination Defaults can be set for each of the Forum frames [Topics Frame], [Threads Frame], [Content Frame], [New/2Me Frames], and [Authors Frame]. |
| |
Notes: |
| |
Changing the pagination default settings will affect mainly Users who are viewing the |
| |
Forum in Novice mode. |
| |
Users viewing the Forum in Expert Mode can set their own pagination preferences, |
| |
These user preferences override the defaults set here. |
| |
|

Topics Frame |
| |
1. Select the appropriate pagination for Expert and Novice Viewing Modes. |
| |
Important: |
| |
In Expert Mode topic hierarchies can be collapsed, hiding subtopics. |
| |
In Novice Mode topic hierarchies are always expanded to show subtopics. |
| |
In Expert Mode, pagination selection refers to number of Top Level topics displayed. |
| |
In Novice Mode, pagination selection refers to total number of topics displayed |
| |
(including subtopics). |
| |
The hierarchy will not be broken, so if a topic has a big hierarchy tree, |
| |
all of its subtopics will still show, allowing the entire topic hierarchy |
| |
to be viewed at once. |
| |
|
| |
Threads Frame |
| |
1. Select the appropriate pagination for Expert and Novice Viewing Modes. |
| |
Important: |

| |
In Expert Mode, the pagination selection refers to number of complete message threads displayed. |
| |
In Novice Mode, the pagination selection refers to minimum number of messages displayed. |
| |
(including head posts and replies). |
| |
The hierarchy will not be broken, so if a thread has 50 messages and the |
| |

| |
entire thread to be be viewed at once. |
